How to Get Help:
- Disaster Assistance: Federal and NSW governments have activated grants for individuals, councils, and primary producers in 16 affected LGAs.
- Income Support: Workers and sole traders in Kempsey, Port Macquarie-Hastings, MidCoast, and Dungog can claim up to 13 weeks’ Disaster Recovery Allowance online from 26 May 2025.
- Bank Support: Major banks are offering $1,000 grants, loan deferrals, and other assistance. Contact your bank for details.
